Standard Used Gear Warranty

Used gear purchased from Creative Stage Lighting is covered by a 60 day parts warranty. Glass gobos and dichroic filters are not guaranteed against breakage or scratches to coating. To initiate a warranty claim, please supply an invoice number for verification of purchase and purchase date when contacting us.

Warranty Repair Returns

A return authorization number (RA#) must be acquired from CSL before a product may be returned. CSL will make the final determination as to whether the product or part is covered by our warranty.

Products are warranted against failure in normal usage, when installed or used in accordance with the applicable instructions, due to defects in workmanship or materials.

Damage due to physical abuse, exposure to excess temperature or moisture conditions, foreign debris introduced into the device by any means, or misapplication is not covered by this warranty. No product will be covered by this warranty if its serial number has been deleted or altered in any way. This warranty does not apply to the cost of installation, cost of removal, consequential or concurrent damages. CSL's sole obligation under this warranty shall be, at its option, the free repair or free replacement of any product or part which is found to be defective upon the return of said component. The customer is responsible for the costs of shipping to/from the repair center. At CSL’s option, parts may be shipped in order to have the customer repair the fixture onsite, if customer is deemed properly trained to conduct repair. In this case, components must be returned within 30 days of the occurrence of the defect to receive a credit for the defective component/part.

All products or parts returned to CSL must be packaged in a suitable manner to guarantee the protection of such parts and products. All packages returned to CSL must be returned prepaid and clearly marked with the RA# on the outside of the package. Please accompany all returned products and parts with a written description of the problems or malfunction, and instruction on how to reproduce the problem.
