Creative Stage Lighting Is Energy Smart
North Creek, NY – December 4, 2007 – Creative Stage Lighting has announced its compliance with New York State’s Energy Smart program.
Energy Smart is a program established by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority to promote energy efficiency. The program has resulted in over $198 million in energy savings, carbon dioxide reduction equivalent to 200,000 fewer cars, and a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
To become Energy Smart NYSERDA recommends processes such as installing compact fluorescent lighting, efficient programmable thermostats, high efficiency motors, and LED exit signs.
One of the many steps that CSL took to comply with Energy Smart include upgrading warehouse lighting to T5 fluorescent lighting. T5 lighting delivers up to 104 lumens per watt and offers a long lifespan.
